This is a paradox, the system we live in now is modern day slavery. We work for this paper we call money to buy food, water, clothes, pleasures, and shelter.
Now we complain that this system will collapse and taking away jobs (modern slavery) will take away our purpose.
What we need to do is find a new system where AI and robotics are the working slaves and us humans can finally be free
