I actually agree that AI art does have soul. Although it is a fragmented frankenstein soul pieced together from fragments of pieces all across the internet. AI art can make you feel something like im sure many people actually believe the ai video that dude made was cute and I don't think he is wrong to point out the good in AI art because ultimately AI is a tool like a pencil or paintbrush. If the user types insteads of draws what comes to mind, isn't that the same thing as making art. One takes more work, but can you blame someone for not wanting to put alot of effort to make art? I personally wish I could draw as good as any artist, but It takes time and resources that I don't have to spend. If I type my prompt as detailed as possible I can get an idea of what I want in a fraction of the time it takes me to put pencil to paper.
