I understand the passion for art, and the fact that people have spent their life creating and making a livelihood with it. I've spent my life lifting boxes and putting them in trailers, no one cares how fast and or how amazing my technique is when loading these packages to get them to people on time and without damaging the product. Let me guess, that's not a fair comparison, my work is worth less etc. Well there are many who don't care about art or think as much of it. It's sad I know, I for one love art. What I don't love is how some people are valued so much more in society than others. I'll fight for artists rights allday. But who is going to fight for my rights when A.I. packages faster than me. Anyways I could go on and on. I think honestly we just need some sort of Universal Basic Income. But of course everyone is going to feel that what they do means more and or is worth more. Life isn't fair, A.I. isn't fair, people who don't appreciate art, isn't fair. Neither is my physical labor work for pennies... Now that I think about it, maybe i'll get into A.I. art... seriously though I see in life so many things becoming and or being made obsolete. Everyone thought it would be just the physical labor workers that would lose their jobs to A.I. No one seemed to care until they came for their jobs, music, art, communications, etc, you name it, it's all replaceable to a certain extent. Let the A.I./machines do the work i say, and we live off of it's work. Or we can all be upset over how important what we do we feel is to us, while others could care less. If you ask me we are just being replaced by more of ourselves, it's all okay as long as money is being made. I for one am saving for a gpu I shouldn't be able to afford, to run it off of someone else's electricity I can't afford, so that maybe I can then afford to actually afford it. I know, I should have been smarter and done something besides lift stuff for other people, it seems the day has come where I can say the same of other peoples livelyhoods. And I do say it, with sadness that is. We really do need some sort of income for everyone. Of course no one will really care of others until the A.I. finally come for their "unique/grandeur of a job". Anyways, A.I. art here I come. Hopefully you are more lucrative than getting the things people need to them.
