If it wasn't for the fact that People for the most part are lazy thieving assholes and is why any COmpany and Business owner look for better and cost effective solutions. It's why just about all major manufacturing is done by Robots. Robots don't get sick, they don't have kids and they don't get pregnant. I employed a small group of people for 35 years, all told I kept a team of 16, what I found was that I only had 14 people at best working at any one time, if there had been a Grand Final or sports event that people wanted to watch, I could have only half my team turn up or at best 14, but they would be hungover or tired and only turned up for work, because they had no sickies left and couldn't afford an unpaid day off. This meant I was lucky to get half a days work done as most were to tired or just didn't give a damn. When I had a few Women working for me it was even worse as monthly issues came into play and the final straw was that the Government was bringing out paid maternity leave, this then was the final straw for me and so I let the Females go and replaced them with Men. I didn't want the hassle. One thing most people don't understand is that using Business equipment for Home use is theft, People thought using the Colour printer for children's homework or for their own Certificates or items they needed printed for what ever reason was fine, taking pens, paper, folders paperclips staples and all the other things people just decide they need more than the Business does, with out a thought that what they are doing is stealing as well as wasting time they should be working. If you catch them and complain, they make out that I was the problem and why should I care they used the Office equipment for themselves, who cares more maintenance as well as Toner and other parts would need to be replaced more often, the Business must be rich and so it's okay. I had a Painting Company and people thought it was okay to take left over Paint home to either paint things at home or do private jobs on the week ends that they couldn't work for me to get jobs done in time so I could put in an invoice. If I could have bought Robots to take the place of the Humans and they each cost five times the annual income of a Person, i would have had the loan papers filled out that day and would have saved a persons wages a year in theft and lost time. The worst thing about people is if they are left alone to do a job, they will take extra time for Smoko and Lunch, I turned up at job sites at 1:30pm and the Boys were still sitting down from lunch, if you asked why, they would make up crap, like they had lunch later for some idiotic reason, or if you turned up at 10am and they were sitting down having SMoko, the same excuse, they started smoko later instead of at 9. Or you would be going past at 15:15 as you did a quote in the area and either they had left work already or had packed up already and were going to their cars. People that have never tried to start a Business have no clue to just how much is lost from how employees behave. If People actually worked and didn't thieve, no one would have been looking for a way to replace the Human. The Government didn't give a damn when COmputers deleted millions of jobs from the market, no policy was put in place to make Companies create a fund to retrain employees that were displaced by a Software program, no fund was created to retrain Employees displaced by Robots at Manufacturing and no fund is being created or worked on to care for all the hundreds of millions that will be replaced by A.I and Robots in the very near future. None of the Businesses or Companies are doing anything either as all they are looking at is all the extra money they will make once they get rid of those nuisance Humans with all their problems and thievery. It's peoples own fault that they either have been replaced in the past or are now in the line of site by an A.I or A.I controlled Robot to be removed.
