Or ... young engineers won't get a chance, the fosils who still have the big picture will retire, AI regurgitates the same solutions and stagnates but will use more energy than ever. We hire more and better trained prompt engineers trying to squeeze the last bit of intelligence out of AI. We eventually have to go back to human engineers; only we now have fked a generation of potential engineers and crippled our educational system.
