One thing that I love about artists - is that they can have a very predictable style. Like... if I want to see someone draw animals in "Disney" style I know one who does that and post several pieces a week/month. I also follow someone who makes extremely realistic (but stylized) oil paintings of people's pets. I know a person who mainly draw Nagas from the WoW franchise, or one who made a universe with cat-people and satyrs. I know of one who have made an amazing book and put it for free online, and now they are illustrating it into a comic. And for all of these I know what to expect when I go to their galleries and I enjoy following them because it's not just chaos in my timeline. I saw something on the front page of an art page I use, and immediatly went "Oh! that is Hanmonster's style" because their style is insanely unique and recognizeable. (You can look them up on Bluesky). It was a repost by the customer who had comissoned the piece and not the artist themselves - but I still immediatly knew. And that is such a comfort. Also human brains are wacky, I know people who have made their entire page and personality about M-preg and clowns, but like, you do you little crazy gremling - and I'll be waaaay over here. And if a human makes something 99% of the time and then out of left field does a parody meme - then we know it is on purpose and not a fluke in their system. And it is way more funny than whatever an AI-jockey can make. With love from both an Artist AND a Plumber. I rarely produce anything nowadays because burnout - but I still have people who are willing to buy my shitty doodles because it is in my own style with it's own soul.
