art gets it beauty from 1) visual beauty 2) thought provocation 3) EFFORT put into making it if all buildings were just like the pyramids in egypt or if all countries had a great wall like china, then those places wouldnt be wonderful. for a person who just wants to fill his house with quick cheap art, thers already venues for that. Artists in general dont make enough money. 1) only if the rich exist or people have surplus do people really buy art 2) as such a poor economy means artists tend to suffer first when the economy is bad. so i tend to hate AI or copy works of art in a similar manner. sadly inspirirational work should be sued but i dont really want open that can of worms since Day Care Centers and Cake bakers should not have to pay a premium for making a cake/painting a building with Mickey mouse or other cartoons characters. basically i dont mind low scale plagerism when the bucks are low BUT ALSO the reproduction is low (as with human made copies) but AI plagerism steals money from the original creator and jobs from entry/mid level artists. also also AI copies could potentially be sold at full original artist price. (except for when a person pays an expert to corfirm authenticity) which sucks for the unnessary hassle. who do you even sue for counterfeits? if i paid $5 for a knock off Van Gogh i assumed the risk/have full understanding. but those sleasy people selling real looking artwork at full price for a fake. sadly AI artwork would naturally fuel the opposite form of artwork to become more legitimized, NFTs. ugh and im not a fan of crypto and NFTs. but thats another convo....
