We should probably tax AI and robotics. Not enough so that they're more expensive than humans: it's an admirable goal to get to a point where people don't have to work any more. But enough to fund a UBI, so that by the time AI has fully replaced all human labor, the now entirely unemployed human species will have a way to trade for the resources that the robots are generating. And by its nature this AI tax will scale up as the need for its revenue increases. Designing the tax in a way that accurately models the number of human jobs replaced by an AI agent would be a challenge, but I don't think it's an insurmountable one.
If I disagree with anything on this video, it's the idea that media companies will silence protest movements. Media companies compete with each other and outrage and controversy drives views.
