As someone who made some AI generated pictures (and that is also actually learning to draw for real) I see AI art as another version of Photoshop art, take a picture that isn't yours and fix/add/improve the details, as long as you're transformative enough and don't take someone's art style directly and try to sell it I think it's a fun process.
