This is a stupid argument. The perception is that Europeans enslaved Africans. When the reality is that Africans enslaved each other and sold them to the Europeans. No one is saying all Africans are the same, we are just pointing out that Africans were the by far main enslavers of Africans. So the statement “Africans enslaved their own people” is correct. You could say Europeans enslaved their own people, without denying that within the larger group that is called European there is distinct ethnic and cultural groups. Same with Africans. It’s pretty simple, but I don’t expect the type of people that listen to AI YouTube shorts and think it’s historical research are capable of critical thinking.
