Got into a debate with a coworker over AI and art and I mentioned companies using AI to generate art for games or products they are selling rather than hiring a talented artist, and the “art” still turned out garbage and looked blatantly AI generated. I’ve seen a video of holiday cookie tins that are so obviously AI generated it’s embarrassing. He told me he doesn’t think that matters and needless to say it didn’t go well lol. Said it’s no different than saving an image off the internet or using others’ art for inspiration. I was getting so frustrated I had to give up 😅
