this whole situation is further proof that requiring people in stem fields to take humanities classes is extremely vital. we would not have this mess if more techbros sat down and thought about the impact the technology they are developing could have on the world. it happened with nfts and now it's happening with ai. i am sick of these technologies being unleashed on the world, wreaking havoc, the people responsible going "oopsie we made a little fucky wucky" and then proceeding to do the same thing with a different technology without ever being held accountable for the destruction they caused. it's not sustainable.
