I am not talented in art. It never came easy to me and for most it never has. I have put years now into refining my skill to where now I can almost call myself an artist. My art has even become good enough that people refer to me as talented but that’s far from the truth. I have strive to improve even in the smallest ways to maybe one day make something unbelievably amazing. Calling artists talented feels so reductive to the time and effort it took for them to refine their craft. AI only studies the final product of years of hard work, not just the time it took to create the original work but the time it took to refine the skills to make it. Art is hard, it hasn’t been easy and I guarantee you most artist didn’t have the ability to make something as complex as the Mona Lisa as soon as they picked up a brush. Remember just because you can’t do something now doesn’t mean you can’t learn how. Believe in yourself, because I believe in you.
