As a software engineer for 3 decades I agree at this. AI does not have to replace 20% of jobs. Once AI gets to 10% It will accelerate rapidly and will spread to other domains and expertise. Also once AI takes 10% of jobs this will impact all industries and jobs, as those human workers that are displaced will saturate into other fields.
