Surprised they dont' mention David Blackwell(Black Man) as one of the fathers of AI, as Blackwell's logic is what currently powers the modern AI revolution. But, they don't teach you that. Blackwell gave us th4e math that allows a machine to improve itself without human intervention. In short: Turing proved a computer could think; Blackwell proved it could learn and optimize.
