Honestly it's doing the opposite of destroying my brain. It's making me learn so much better than ever before. I've always been the type who needs to ask a ton of questions. In the early internet I'd make constant reddit posts or forum posts asking questions. Half would get answered by like 1 person so I couldn't really verify, half or more would just get straight ignored, and maybe some others would get answered by a few people etc. It was hit or miss and very frustrating to actually learn with. Chatgpt is a source that I can ask questions from my textbook and get answers instantly. As a returning student it's been invaluable. But I ensure to always use it as a coach only. I never have it write my code for me, I only ask it questions about the textbook to help me clarify mental things etc. So ya you're dead wrong buddy. You're just using it wrong.
