It seems it would have been really critical to ask this guy if energy consumption would plays a safety role of a brake to limit AI speed of expansion.
I see there a major brake on AI development. To speed its development it needs more energy.
And where are going to find this energy for AI? Energy transition is a critical theme today.
Some researchers are doing me this impression on being too narrow-focused, and forgetting to take big dimensions into account in their predictions. Would be interesting to have a neurology podcast on that and to deep delve on how specialization brings some cecity along with it and how to escape that/ avoid that, which is really important for our researchers nowadays, esp. with AI.
