I’ve worked with machine learning code and I’ve messed with chatgpt and all they can do is repeat patterns.
It’s true that we don’t know EXACTLY how it works, but we do know exactly what it’s doing: pulling in pixels or scripts and then repeating the patterns, usually in a hilarious bad way.
These algorithms are decades old. Is there something new that we should be concerned about? That’s what you could have talked about.
