Now I'm going to cause a lot of negativity on myself, however... I won't say that "it's on the Internet, so it's common" (although communism is the only bright future for all mankind!.. ahem, sorry). But I will say that artists are for such touching (and actually truthful) speeches... they overestimate the price tag for their creativity too much! Take me - some time ago I took up writing, moreover, as it turned out, a high-quality literary text is not particularly needed now (at least in my country). Only low-grade literature sells well; the situation is about the same as with computer and mobile games. Therefore, I can also safely call myself a creative person, but for my work I do not receive anything at all - except contempt from concrents who see me as a threat (or just want to make fun of me). And here I am, having been writing for free for more than six years, I want to embody one of my characters in a drawing... but the artist demands so much that the hairs on my head stand on end!!! But there are A.I., that can satisfy my request, maybe not so accurately, but for free or much cheaper. And how can I support artists in such a situation? After all, in my eyes, artists literally become an analogue of those very rich corporations who are only interested in their own income.
