A very salient point at the end of the video, using AI to make my art (as a musician) seems pointless to me. Without the dedication and effort I put into my craft, the music generated by AI that I would be using wouldn't have any real meaning, I'd feel no deeper gratification, and I'd be lying to myself if I thought the prompt and the outputted hodge podge of a million other songs homogenised into one somehow reflected my own deepest creative intentions. Also I'd like to mention that the data labelling by image generators was a menial task carried out by people in third world countries on zero hour contracts. No surprise there, many western endeavours are built on third world slave labour but I think it's worth mentioning. I never see it discussed in the context of the ethics of AI so I'm adding it to my comment so that people are aware and can look into it themselves. It adds a whole extra layer of horror to AI art, the well is truly poisoned.
