Shad always had a limited understanding of a lot of things he was talking, he masked this by knowing how to talk a lot. He was blacklisted from the HEMA community for good reasons. Also his understanding of history is so eurocentric that to some extent it comes out as racist when he covers weapons that aren't from Europe, calling them inferior and not taking in consideration the different ways they were used.
I'm not surprised he is into AI art since he doesn't the historical context behind the process of creating art besides the personal experience and exploration of the mind through the different mediums.
