AI can't understand art, so AI can't make art. All they see is a series of patterns they're coded to recognize and make a coded guess to respond with. Humans see the full picture with the details, the "guess" isn't coded, it's educated, it's biased, it's art, because there are thoughts behind it. AI only has thoughts behind the engine itself, not the "art piece."
