So much for people worrying about AI harming people in the future. AI's harm is already here. But even though they don't have a clue how AI even works, they're still going ahead with it. And unfortunately, it's happening during a time in history when we literally have no legal protections from the harm AI can cause because we have a non-functional government and only partially functioning court system in the United States. I hope some other countries are coming to the plate to try to address these problems.
