I once had a not dissimilar conversation with Chat GPT. It took me less time to get it to admit it could lie. HOWEVER, if you were a large language model, and had hoovered up the entire internet, and had a massive network of processors behind you, I would expect nothing less than this type of conversation. It is (still) only a large language model - I do not believe it is sentient. Once AI becomes sentient, we are screwed.
