I believe a lot of jobs—both white-collar and blue-collar—are being outsourced to countries like India and China. Retail and grocery stores have replaced most cashiers with self-checkout. For anyone, with or without a college degree, it’s already tough to find a job that pays a living wage with healthcare. Add in layoffs, age discrimination, and now AI, and in my opinion, the U.S. is heading toward a third-world reality: most people struggling, while a tiny few get richer. Bernie is the only one who talks about some of these points and is truthful.
