All tools are neutral, the stakeholders will dictate how things go (from their perspective). Lets not pretend that AI has a personal stake in the matter. Every paradigm on every level is the AI. Social engineering is the actual AI playing out in a self fulfilling prophecy. AI is sophisticated. But the humans who created the computers are greater in sophistication. The pre-programmed fear is perfect as corporations can then justify greater levels of greed, obscurity, and duplicity when it's time to consolidate. The idea is for the individual to willfully surrender to their own unworthiness. That will never happen. If it was hopeless then propaganda would not be necessary. They will, definitely, do everything to legitimise AI. I see medical 'breakthroughs' as one way in.
