Interesting piece of research. AI is trained on what thousands, or millions,of people say or write. And what the world itself has been trained on? I think largely it is a journalist or broadcaster line: that we like perpetual debate, that we really don’t like peace, which would be when nonsense is silenced and we settle issues once and for all. We say we would like peace, but in reality work constantly to prevent the peace of issues being settled. We like diversity of views, meaning evil is just as valid as good. Even though it clearly isn’t!
