I'm not an artist, I'm an IT grad, so I have to admit I don't hate generative AI... on paper.
I do hate, however, that a large part of the data set current models were trained on is essentially stolen because it was made too easily available, often as a free sample of something else. And of course, *they are still doing it long after the ethical dilemma has been pointed out*, hence the video about punishing the unrepentant thieves.
