AI is not going to feel emotions. Emotions are biochemical processes. If true artificial consciousness is ever achievable by human technology, it will be a mind on a wholly new level. Nothing like our biochemistry-driven cognitive processes. It will be a pure intelligence of a kind that's hard to imagine.
