A.I today as in chatbots are literally nothing more than just a smarter autocorrect. And give it a personality through for instance open-webui, or lm-studio, and the LLM will literally act that out. Stringing together words that makes sense for the description of the "autocorrect instructions". So no. A.I does not have a personality because it's not even A.I. All it is is just a word database with text to context processing.
Real A.I is built from the bottom like a baby. It corrects itself if it learned wrong, it has proper emotions. Hold grudges and whatnot. We've not even figured out how our own brain works. So these simulated intelligences are nothing more than just roleplaying smart-autocorrect programs.
