The problem with these AI/ML courses are you are immediately put in a place where you have to use python, you need guardrails when you're starting just like how a toddler learns to ride a bicycle. OOP languages with strong typecasting are the best start. Java, C# learn the fundamentals there, then go ahead apply your knowledge to some other related languages ie Python, Go, Rust, Javascript, Typescript etc.
