The problem is not AI taking menial jobs to free up time of humans to put towards actual things humans excel at: art, culture, community, spirituality etc. The problem is 1% wielding it as weapon against the world pocketing record profits and fracturing the balance of the world. This is why we need systems with no billionaires and universal basic income so that everyone’s time, skill and talents can be better utilised and put towards advancing the species or our knowledge of the Universe.
