AI would totally kill someone if given a chance, just for fun of it. That said, more than "AI going rougue and killing everyone" i am affraid that wealthy folks who do this kind of thing, will sacrifice ANY and ALL of earths resources they can get their greedy hands on in their pursuit of superinteligence and of course, more monet, making the planet basically inhabitable for the most part.
