Its kind of obvious that working class was always going to be a short lived thing considering now robots will become the new slaves.
This is not something your going to be able to stop just like you couldn't stop dishwashers replacing people pot washing in restaurants.
There is no reason to just stop progress so that humans can waste there life doing menial tasks that robots can do instead make sure that every human has there basic needs met so that they don't have to work a automatable job in the first place.
