But I don’t get why people are asking AI what to write in the first place. The story should already exist in your mind before you even use the tool. If you’re constantly asking ChatGPT to generate ideas, structure, and content from scratch, you’re not really writing a story you’re producing AI output with prompts. That’s how you end up with cluttered, generic writing. AI should be used to support what you already created, not replace the creative core of it. The author should still be the source of the story, not the person asking what the story should be.
