Tech bros are fans of the idea of new technology, but are nearly completely technologically illiterate. It's why they're fans of blockchain/Bitcoin/NFTs, A.I., and Elon Musk, because they push the ideas of new tech, using old tech that doesn't actually do anything they claim they do. The only place that crypto currency, A.I., and Elon Musk have any use in the world is in criminal activity, and are both worthless and useless outside of that context.
