I work as an implementor of AI. I issue maybe 50+ prompts a day, maybe 100+. It authors non of my emails or documents. It's a research tool. Like a really capable google search.
Watching people interact with an AI like it has intent or care for you is wild. It's literally a statistics database of word relationships. It sounds like a human because the word relationships are taken from our text.
The reason I use it for research is lazy really. The FULL context of what you need to do is often too hard to enter. So, just type out the search constraints. I sometimes don't even type out sentences, just the keywords.
