23:30 the dirty secret of the AI Empire is that the companies themselves don't actually control the power. That's the big story from Deep Seek: that frontier models don't need trillions of dollars of infrastructure to develop and deploy. They need that infrastructure to support and service inference for billions of people but that infrastructure doesn't necessarily have to be trapped in a data center somewhere. When the actual models live on servers in people's homes, the value the companies command evaporates. I think I'm moving towards the concept that the technical moat in AI, as Karen describes, isn't even the mountains of data being generated. Its the individual experience a person has with a particular AI and whether that experience brings the person back. The data generated in the past is only valuable if you continue to reference it in the future. If I leave my data on OpenAI to switch to Anthropic or Grok, I suffer shortly as I rebuild my "profile" in another place. OpenAI loses on the unique tokens I would submit forever. I'm not sold on the idea that AI companies can simply exist, expand forever, use up all the resources on the planet, and leave people starting. I saw that show on Amazon Prime where the automatic factory had to build its own rebels to fight against.
