There is also a double standard cause music artist are more commercially protected than other artists.
Also Ai doesn’t take inspiration at artist techniques and more so traces it. It’s fundamentally different way of approaching it. For example if the Ai wants to draw line art for a head it’s not imagining the anatomy or perspectives it’s just using the reference line pixel for pixel and mashing it up with another prompt. This would be called a form of tracing which is highly frowned upon even for humans. So no people who use that inspiration argument don’t really comprehend how to actually take inspiration respectfully.
