Well I don't think so , chatgpt isn't a liar because he is not conscious but he lied in a sense which is actually giving false information because he is incapable of "meaning" anything, it is a fundamental aspect of a system without which severe problems might, not world domination (possibly) but .... Imagine All the things that people ask chatgpt. chatgpt isn't conscious thus isn't a liar or liar in a human sense , for being a liar you must choose to lie , but chatgpt is incapable of that when it comes to anything emotional as that kind of information requires conscious and "feelings".
