I think AI art has its utility, it's a lot more realistic and affordable to use it for concept art or ideas for small devs before they hire an artist. I agree there needs to be some kind of regulation for the use of webscraping art so that it can be used consensually. There are going to be growing pains but I think it will be a net positive after the dust settles (I hope).
