Great tech understanding. Very shallow political understanding.
A liberal society leaves individuals and groups to make their own choices. Liberal democracy does not mean we should all debate all topics and then enforce consensus. It definitely does not imply the government should have a controlling stake in tech companies.
On the other hand, the rules of a given socio-economic system largely end at the border. It is not obviously true that corporations should be able to become exttanational in the sense that they are not bound by the rules of their host societies.
