My sympathies go out to the family. It is a sad accident. But it is an accident. If we think we will ever a design autonomous cars that will never have accidents we are all kidding ourselves. The sooner we get them on the road the more miles They will log and the faster we will learn to make them better. If we try to make them perfect it will never happen.
