Great explanation. As a beginning artist/painter who has been practicing drawing the human body a lot! for the past year (2500 Challenge) I've been spending 2-5hrs almost every day drawing heads, arms, legs, hands..etc. It's really not about the product. I am enjoying the process. Using a "tool" like a projector or copy machine could speed things up but I would never gain the same insights, improvement or happiness. A big part of talent is about preferring to do something so much that you do it a lot. My goal in practicing is that I become able to represent any idea I can imagine but also that the journey is pleasurable. I'm 66 and just starting. If I used AI it would take all the fun out of the trip.
