12 year software devops guy, 1st of all for anyone not in the IT field let me tell you that “AI” is nothing but a selling point that we use because so many people especially vendors are familiar with the term due to movies and television. 2nd of all their is no feasible way that real AI could ever ever exist due to AI having to BE somewhat human. It has to have goals and drives and understand the role of emotion, and understand why other sentient creatures behave like they do. Also computer are only capable of running code or a program with easily predicted outputs. Human output is not easily predictable due to emotion over years of learned programming hence computers just aren’t as complex as say the human brain which processes 100 billion neurons all at the same time which even the most advanced super computers don’t come next to. 3rd due to emotions humans can override their learned behavior or “source code” where a machine no matter how complex the hardware can not override its core source code .
