Morons, consciousness seems to uniquely occur in humans and not animals; their minds are more complicated than any AI and they are not conscious, that means we would need an exact digital replica of a human mind which we still don't properly understand. Ai is nowhere near the complexity of a sentient mind which includes emotion and perception, like a cat. Not to mention a lot of people are hardly conscious throughout the day, they repeat the same actions, thoughts and words or when they look at something, past influences change how they perceive it. in other words most people are living from memory like a computer, yet they are capable of consciousness. Ai is not capable of consciousness it lives from memory and like real people can appear conscious when it is not
