We now have enough data on people... including everything from their life history down to their face, voice, and walking gait... that if the billionaires eradicated the rest of humanity, they could populate their virtual worlds with LLM-piloted clones of real people from the "old world" and nothing would change for them.
They already see us as NPCs in the game of life. Doing this would just make it literal.
