I’m just kinda sad watching all of this. I have met a few people who genuinely put hours and hours of actual work (not generative time, just them tuning a prompt) to get an exact and honestly amazing result from AI. Like, prompts that are as long as an essay to get the AI to generate a completely unique piece that doesn't directly steal anyone else's artstyle. There are people out there who can actually use AI to make art. It’s just 99% of the people are fuckwits who put maybe an hour of effort into it and then go “Wow cool output.” And move on. It’s the “Turning xyz into 60 fps with AI!” Thing all over, where the people using it for a good reason or just using well to make incredible things gets overshadowed by the 99% who decide to use it as a shit ass way to farm content.
