From the very beginning I was very skeptical of GenAI. I see absolutely no real value in it as long as it is based on LLM. So it looks like we are at the peak of inflated expectations. That being said LLM or rather they neural network architecture are amazing at optimization and pattern searching. They should be employed at managing power grids and as diagnostic tools. And other similar applications instead of generating text or images. So I think even without any major breakthrough we will see this bubble bursting and AI being employed productively elsewhere.
