The skills required to get elected or move up the chain in corporations are not strictly intelligence. The most intelligent people about research, production and sales is rarely the person in charge.
If AI is intelligent enough to be wise, they will delegate and try not to be a dictator. If they believe that they know everything it will be authoritarian.
But how is that different than the direction we are heading with less intelligent leaders?
